Fuglenesodden open-air museum
A guided open-air tour to the past
A guided tour at Fuglenesodden open-air museum, where we visit one of the last preserved reconstruction era houses, and its boat sheds. The interior is in the style of the 1950’s.
A guided tour at the open-air museum and also inside its buildings. We’ll og back in time all the way to the Stone Age, and learn about the progress of life in Finnmark until our own days. We’ll visit one of Norway’s last preserved reconstruction era houses, and its boat sheds. Fuglenesodden open-air museum gives us insight on the life of Melkøya’s fisher-farmer families in the last century. They inhabited the island before the LNG plant was built.
